Step 1: Create an MCP API Key

To create the required API key:

1. Open the API page from the left-hand navigation or through Settings.
2. Select Create New API Key.
3. Choose API Key as the connection type.
4. Enter a clear connection name, such as:

   • Seamless MCP
5. Add a description explaining how the connection will be used.
6. Select the MCP scope.
7. Select the Public API scope as well if the approved workflow requires both.
8. Choose the appropriate user, group, or organization assignment when available.
9. Save the connection.
10. Copy the API key and store it securely.

Treat your API key like a password. Do not include it in screenshots, public repositories, shared documents, or unsecured messages.

Step 3: Add Seamless to Your AI Tool

In your supported AI tool, open the area used to manage:
